Clam dip

1-   6 oz cam minced clams
1-   8 oz package cream cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2-  garlic cloves. Minced
1/4 cup chopped onions ( this depends on the sharpness on the onion- so the amount may vary.
1-  Tablespoon parsley
1/2. Teaspoon black pepper
Dash garlic salt

Cream room temperature cream cheese, sour cream, and remaining ingredients, refrigerate and serve with chips.

Story- Will made this often in the summer. It's very good!

Glacamole

Avacado. 3 or so, mashed
Onion. 1/2 finely chopped
Tomato. 2 diced
Hot picketed peppers or jalapeƱo to taste, finely chopped
Cilantro - about 1 Tablespoon
Salt
Garlic - minced
Lime- juice from 1 

Mix together and serve with Doritos

Chex Mix

3/4 box rice chex
3/4 box corn chex
8 oz of pretzels
1 can mixed nuts
8 oz of M & M's

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup white syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
dash of salt
1 teaspoon soda

Method & Story;Dump rice and corn chex in brown paper bag. Soften butter and combine butter, syrup, brown sugar and microwave on high 2 minutes.
Remove, stir, microwave on high for 2 more minutes. Add vanilla and almond flavoring, salt and baking soda, stir well. Pour over rice and corn chex in brown paper bag....shake and roll to coat mixture

Microwave mixture in a closed paper bag 1 1/2 minutes. Remove, shake and roll bag. Microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes, shake and roll for 1 minute. Add pretzels and mixed nuts shake and roll.
Cool before adding M & M's

Danaka made this delicious snack when we visited them. Kristin was invited to a get together, and we went to spend some time with Danaka and her family. Easy to make, little clean up and very good.

Hot Hamburger Dip

1 lb hamburger
1 20oz jar salsa
1 can fiesta nacho cheese soup
1 small can chopped black olives
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
1 tsp horseradish (optional)
1 tsp minced onion
salt and pepper

Notes/Stories: Brown hamburger and onion. Add salt and pepper. Drain. Add cream cheese and fiesta nacho cheese soup. Heat until melted. Add salsa, black olives, and horseradish. Place all in crock pot to keep warm.

We brought this to one of many piano recitals. Delicious with the scoops version of tortilla chips.
